I was looking for some of my old fic and putting it on AO3 recently and I rediscovered a "dub con" X-Files fic that I wrote for a zine about 13-14 years ago that was basically out and out rape. I was completely horrified when I read it and no one said a thing back then. I think if I posted something like that nowadays I'd be crucified. It's still sitting on my hard drive where it shall remain.
