Fandom has become much tamer, hasn't it? I wonder why that is. I read a couple of Narnia fics lately where the authors discuss the "underage" issue at length, and realised that I'd never given it a thought in my Narnia fic that features a very young Edmund. I know I read quite a few rape fics in my time, without particularly seeking them out; they were simply out there as part of the fannish offering.
