There's no denying. Something evil has taken over my brain

Hmm, different. I dunno, I don't really get RPS *shrug* I mean, visually I can think someone would look fabulous snogging someone else... but these are people that we don't know, so how could they be characterised? Mt brain explodes somewhere around that point. So for me I think - pictures = mmmmm, words = huh?

I know! That's a massive problem. Characterisation aspects can be derived from, oh, interviews and articles, but that requires a lot of research I'm not prepared to invest and still remains inaccurate. That much said, characterisation is always a difficult issue, as we can observe on a daily basis in the HP fandom. Just because you've got a character presented on paper doesn't mean it's easy to write about them.

Writing RPS I'd also feel like a filthy stalker, invading the privacy of real people. That is somewhat worrying.

I'm not really into RPS. That's why I'm so baffled about my irrepressible desire. Must be the hormones *g*

Yeah, I find most celebrities rather dull, so I would never know enough to start me off. I wouldn't worry about the stalker thing, I'm sure they would rather someone wrote a story than camped outside their houses with a gun, you know? ;-)

Characterisation is rarely agreed on by anyone, but the idea of a sort of mix of none and almost limitless 'canon' is rather daunting.

On the other hand, I suppose I am writing half RPS for a challenge right now, even if the real person involved is long dead, and yours are certainly more physically appealing *g*

I'm sure you're right, but it's not about them. It's about me! I feel like a sick weirdo! *is very moderately hardly distressed at all*

Luckily, the characterisation issue can be overcome easily, as I'm not interested in long, character-driven fiction. It's all about the steamy sex, baby!

So you're writing historical slash, then? Or bible slash? *g*

I feel like a sick weirdo!

If it helps, I'm sure lots of people would call us all that already *g*

Heh! I did threaten to write Jesus Christ Superstar slash in a conversation the other day *g* That's about as close as I get to the bible! This is historical person / HP character slash. So weird, but lots of pervy fun so far...

Yes, yes. Very helpful. Thanks a lot, Llama ;-)

The idea of Jesus Christ Superstar slash cracks me up. Dunno why. That's so sick, and yet so plausible. (->They've turned the crucifixion into a musical. Why not take the musical a step further?)

Hee. And the JCS thing... well it might be the memorable production I saw years back that's responsible for that. Every gay man I knew was in it, just about, including two cute ones who used to walk the dogs with me and spend the whole time snogging. Fun *g*

Ah, yes. Artists! *g*
