Can you guess who you are?

I can't believe some of you do this for hundreds of people!

I included most of my flist, apart from those whom I never see post and who never comment, because I can't really say anything about them. So if you post and/or comment fairly often, you should be on the list.

1. I think my take on Remus startles you a bit. I'm the more grateful that you decided to give my journal a chance.

2. I don't know you well, but you're a good friend of 8. And, dude, I love your femmeslash pairing!

3. You seem to only post drabbles these days, but you wrote a truly awe-inspiring Snape/Black once, which never fails to make me shiver.

4. It's been always a pleasure talking to you, but you seem to have disappeared since the Olympics. Where are you?

5. I like your icon theme. All the cute little doggies...

6. You hate the character I love, but we're still on speaking terms. That's love, I guess ;-)

7. I was born near to where you live.

8. It was your drabbles that attracted me magically, and I was oh so right in friending you. I've always admired how masterfully you play with words, but, considering your RL profession, that's not surprising.

9. We share the love for a particular feature regarding Remus' body.

10. You share my preference for a pairing. And we share a similar background regarding origins and country of residence.

11. You are one of the first people I ever talked to in fandom. Not surprisingly so, because you are one of the most active members of the fandom and I am in awe at how you manage to contribute so, so many fics, recs, discussions and opinions of outstandingly high quality.

12. You are active in a different fandom at the moment, but in your HP days, you wrote what is possibly my favourite Sirius/Remus fic.

13. You're sick. And that's why I love you. I will always associate you with zoophilia. (And yes, this is a compliment.)

14. You maintain a community I recently got very interested in. I don't know you well, but seeing my recently growing interest in other fandoms, I might get to know you better soon.

15. I love your love for words.

16. I hope you're feeling better than you have recently.

17. I don't really know you, and therefore I was the more thrilled when you commented on a RL post of mine.

18. You are the author of the only Snape/Hermione fic I truly enjoyed. I think it's never got finished, though.

19. That icon makes my teeth ache.

20. I am so much looking forward to your next fic! You haven't written much yet (as far as I'm aware), but the thing you've come up with is the best combination of humour and smut.

21. That's easy. I would never, ever defriend you, no matter what. Because you've always been there and I love you.

22. We share a deep love for character discussions. The most memorable discussion we led, however, was about some particularly difficult logistics problem and resulted in a fic.

23. You and 35 are the fandom's OTP.

24. In my sixth grade at school, our lesson plan included knitting a sheep. Yep, this is a story I remember when I think of you.

25. You are the author of the hottest wankfic ever.

26. You write darkness and despair, yet you seem to be such a sweet, lovely person in RL. How do you do it?

27. Humour and a relaxed attitude. And dislike of bitchy wanks. That's basically what I associate with you, and that's why it's always a great pleasure to read your posts.

28. I sometimes feel as though I had tricked you into friending me, seeing as I don't post anything about your favourite character. But I'm planning to remedy that, having recently received some input regarding the Seer theory.

29. I don't think I've ever talked to you, which is weird, because we share a fair amount of interests.

30. You've got the icon that I always wanted to have. When I first encountered you, I was somewhat intimidated, because your icon and username made me feel as though you were way too classy and sophisticated for me to friend you. I don't think you will ever recognise yourself in this description.

31. When we met, I said I'd stick around. I didn't, but I'm glad to see you're still on my flist.

32. Your icon with the little doggie always makes me smile.

33. You were very quiet for a while. But now you seem to be back with the cutest icon ever.

34. You seem to have disappeared lately, but once upon a time, you were a very regular commenter on my LJ.

35. You have written about every pairing imaginable, and I admire the sheer amount of funny/squicky/original/hot fics you produce, while still managing job, kids and RL hobbies.

36. With your recs, you contributed more than anyone else to my broadening my horizon by tempting me to read in other fandoms.

37. We like the same characters, but we write in wholly different genres. I can't resist your sexy-yet-dark Remus.

38. You are the author of some of the squickiest drabbles I ever read - if only because they feature her who must not be named.

39. I love the fact that you give such long, comprehensive replies to feedback and comments. I am still thrilled that you friended me back, even though I don't contribute much to your part of the fandom.

40. You are associated with two people who are not on my flist, but who two of the most renowned in the fandom. As are you.

41. I met you over a humour fic, and you've made me laugh many times since. You've also made me drool over that one smouldering guy we both so much admire.

42. We friended each other after a lengthy discussion of some HP characters, but then I didn't see you around much. You seem to be back, though, and I'm glad you are.

43. You are a dedicated supporter of my favourite female character. How could I not like you?

44. You don't post much HP-related stuff at the moment, but you're the author of one of my favourite Snape/Black fics.

45. What you said about me on your meme made me all warm and fuzzy inside, because it means I've got something to look forward to.

46. I think you should set up that master list, I really do.

47. I don't think we've ever talked, but I enjoy your posts. I should start commenting on them, too.

48. I don't really know you. You don't seem to post much. You know 11 in person.

49. Your LJ posts are more than posts: They're public events, in which the whole fandom rejoices.

50. You've been on my flist for a long time, but it was only when you threatened to disappear from it that I realised how much fun it is talking to you *g* Yes, I am slow sometimes.

51. I really think that you should post your theories on your favourite character some day, even though you feel as though your list is incomplete. Writing it all down helps thinking of more ;-)

52. I haven't seen you around for a very long time. You announced some time last year that a different fandom than HP was taking you over. I hope to see you again some time.

53. Inspired by you, I've written my most surreal drabbles.

54. I like your Remus icon, even though it features Thewlis. But the cardigan makes me giggle.

55. I greatly enjoy the sex discussions on your journal. Very educational.

56. You think Remus is a sick fuck. But in the best possible way.

57. You, my dear, have tricked me into coming up with the most incredible snippets and dialogues time and again. I admire your ability to write such hysterically silly fun on the one hand and such thrillingly dark fics on the other.

58. We've almost hijacked a community once.

59. I adore your Remus. You don't post any HP stuff anymore, but I like reading your RL posts just as much. And have I mentioned that I adore your Remus?

60. I don't really know why you've friended me, but I am oh so glad you did. You're an artist with a very distinctive style and your magnificent art has reconciled me to a character I don't really like much.

61. You are one of the best theorists in the fandom and I am very flattered that you've friended me. I love reading your essays, even though I haven't commented much as yet.

62. You gave me a platform to indulge in writing silly and, possibly, disturbing fiction and to purge my system from unhealthy Mary-Sue urges.

63. You're one of the most articulate and witty people I met on LJ. And you wear six-inch stilettos. Yay!

64. You were one of the first people to ever friend me. You are very intense and outspoken, and I think I am a bit intimidated by you.

65. You had a crush on a novel character whom I almost crushed on, too, had I not started to find him creepy early on.

66. You are one of the most regular fic and art reccers on my flist, for which I am grateful, because I am often too lazy to go hunting for fics myself.

67. You've written one of my favourite guilty-pleasure fics, though I'm not sure you consider it to be one.

68. Everyone knows you, but yet you're an enigma.

69. I share your dislike for people who post patronising posts.

70. You've got the cutest animal icons ever. And the sexiest RL icons ;-)

71. I think both your username and your LJ layout are breathtakingly stylish. I like black and red.

72. In your hands, a rather poorly executed HP character has come to life. I, alongside the entire fandom, am in awe at how real and human you make him.

73. You are one of my favourite and longest-admired authors, and it was one of my most gratifying experiences ever when you posted a review of one of my fics on your LJ.

I couldn't resist ;-)

[identity profile] scribbulus-ink.livejournal.com 2004-09-18 03:12 pm (UTC)(link)
This is the first time I've seen this meme where I'm reasonably sure I know which one I am: #9. Because we both have a thing for freckles on Remus' shoulders.

[identity profile] donnaimmaculata.livejournal.com 2004-09-18 03:14 pm (UTC)(link)
Heh! Yes. I couldn't resist pointing it out :-)

[identity profile] ptyx.livejournal.com 2004-09-18 03:55 pm (UTC)(link)
Ha, if I'm not 69, I wish I were! What a hot number I got!

[identity profile] donnaimmaculata.livejournal.com 2004-09-19 03:53 am (UTC)(link)
You are 69. Good, eh?

[identity profile] frek.livejournal.com 2004-09-18 03:58 pm (UTC)(link)
*ponders* I've never been really good at these things, it's awful trying to pick yourself out of a bunch of comments (especially if you don't know if you're on there!)

so yes...

Am I number 62??

I'm going to be incredibly egoistic and say that perhaps I'm #11 (and if so, I'm terribly flattered!), because I remember our discussions re the SSFF, and I have a candidate for #48.

(And I also think I can identify #3, #23, #35, #49, and #66.)

[identity profile] donnaimmaculata.livejournal.com 2004-09-19 08:22 am (UTC)(link)
You are 11 indeed. And I think you are probably right in your guesses, possibly apart from 66.

[identity profile] laurelwood.livejournal.com 2004-09-18 04:05 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm probably not on here, but #65 looked familiar because of that Dean Priest conversation we had a while back. You're sensible to have found him creepy, of course. :)

I'm dying to know who #68 is! So mysterious!

[identity profile] donnaimmaculata.livejournal.com 2004-09-19 08:24 am (UTC)(link)
Of course you're on here. I only didn't include those who never post. And you are 65, too. Dean Priest, yeah...

I must say, I'm rather proud of 68.

Nope. I'm sorry to say, but yours is a bit tricky as you can hardly know that that's what I think. Just... flatter yourself a bit more, whydoncha?

[identity profile] musigneus.livejournal.com 2004-09-18 06:15 pm (UTC)(link)
Hmm. I'd guess that I might be #67, since you used the phrase "guilty-pleasure fic" when you sent me a review of A Short Measure (which was, by the way, the second bit of feedback I'd ever received on my stories, and has been treasured ever since).

[identity profile] donnaimmaculata.livejournal.com 2004-09-19 08:35 am (UTC)(link)
