I am very fond of cold & ruthless Remus, and my characterisation of him tends to be quite extreme at times. I'm glad it works for you. He is very sexy when he acts in a coldblooded way. His "Well hello Peter, long time, no see" in PoA never fails to send shivers down my spine.
It's easy for me to forget how incredibly strong he is and I often lapse into thinking of him as a kind, mild, and Dumbledore-esque happy. But fanfiction does well in making me wake up, and one thing I've noticed many people skip over is the fact that he was so ruthless and willing to kill Peter in PoA. There's got to be more to Remus, you know?
I always struggle with the last sentence of a fic, so it's good to know you liked it!
I love it, yeah. I can't really explain why, but something about '[...]his hands clutching fistfuls of Sirius' robes, as though anchoring him to himself, to life' always gives me goosebumps and it's just an incredibly vivid image to me.
There is a whole background story about Snape and Sirius, and one day I'll get around to writing it, I'm sure.
Oh, please do, the dynamic between the two of them is so interesting - JKR constantly reiterates that Snape hated James the most, but it's so much fun to ignore that.
