Hmm. She's a part of the DA, so she's not as frivolous as Harry thinks she is. Maybe she'll contribute something significant that would make Harry sit up? He isn't exactly the most observant person in the world.

The name Padma doesn't suggest anything to me as such, (lotus... Laxmi? Goddess of wealth and well-being? Also a daughter of Shiva and Parvati? nah) but I do like the idea. LOL
