Nevermind the secret featured in this arrangement; I'm more interested in the fact that Tom Felton, in this picture, looks very much like Mackenzie Crook:




Which is quite fitting, seeing as Draco Malfoy has always borne a strong resemblance to Gareth Keenan from The Office (UK).




The pinched, pale face, the pointy nose, the slick blond hair... I always, always pictured Draco as having a grey, unhealthy complexion and dark shadows under his eyes - even before these attributes became canon in HBP.




He even does the "trademark" Malfoy!smirk.

So have I! Especially since I saw HBP: Draco looked so old and worn-out in that film, as though Tom Felton were in his late 30s rather than in his early 20s.

Dear Tom Felton,

you look exactly like the guy who used to stand outside my best friend's appartment and call for "just one little bag, man, I'm out, I just need a little" because a drug dealer used to live right next to her.

On the plus side, you aren't insulting any Christmas decorations of my friend's because "that's one creepy elf, man, it's staring right at me. Just one bag, man!". Yet.

He does, though, doesn't he? Not that I know the guy outside your best friend's appartment, but Tom Felton totally looks like the kind of bloke who craves "just one little bag" in the middle of the night.

He kinda has a point regarding the elf (any elf), though: those Christmas decorations tend to look amazingly creepy (there was a Father Christmas near where I used to live that totally looked as though he had hanged himself out of the window). I'm pretty sure that's on purpose.

No decorations should contain any resemblence to living or imagined creatures. (Doesn't help that the elf in question has real glass eyes curtesy of me finding some at a flea market. They're slightly too big, so imagine the fish eyes of doom staring out from this bearded little face. It's awesome.)

Ooh, it's a self-made elf! That does sound awesome! I <3 the idea of the glass eyes.

I don't have any Christmas decorations, but last year and the year before, when we had proper snow over Christmas, I made snowmen in my parents' garden. One of them was our stupid!cat and the other one was a Harry Potter. I might tackle a creepy!elf this year... *plots*
