I enjoyed your Lupin. He is very strong and determined in a the-end-justifies-the-means-way, and the power play between him and Bellatrix works perfectly.
As usual, I'm most interested in Snape ;) I'm curious to that eat death-comment and Remus' line on the old use of the veil and alter. The set-up is definitely interesting.
The last twist - Snape's hands in Sirius' robe - calls for a sequel. As does the possibility for a hot three-some ;)
Bellatrix? Hmm. If Snape is to continue as a spy, she can't be allowed to return, but she might work well as the "skeleton in the closet" - the prisoner who might be locked up in the cellar but is constantly on everybody's mind.
