Two unconnected connections

Here's what one comes across when googling for "Sheldon" and "Sands": The Sands of Time. Completely irrelevant, most likely, but the idea that Johnny Depp got the inspiration for Sands' name from a bodice ripper (with nuns!) made me giggle.

And I didn't know that the name of the man behind "The Mothman Prophecies" is John Keel. Considering that Sam Vimes in "Night Watch" is, in a way, the carrier of paranormal messages, the naming is rather fitting.
