Picking up on the QaF UK theme from a few posts ago: I treated a friend of mine to the first episode two days ago, and he's very much interested in watching the series. This will be so much fun. He'll be hopelessly in love with Stuart very soon, and then we can drool together.

On a side note: When rewatching the series, I realised just how much the dynamics between Stuart and Vince is not "Vince is pining over Stuart and suffering from unrequired love" but rather "Stuart tries to tell Vince just how much he likes him and Vince is to dumb to understand".

Hm. Can't be bothered to work. Am laziest person on the planet. I could write up some thoughts on Remus instead, which would be so much more fun. Wish someone would pay me for it.

Russell T Davies just wrote another series for the BBC called 'Casanova' which I watched last night and it was BRILLIANT! It has David Tennant as Casanova, who's going to be Barty Crouch Jnr in OotP.

We never get these series here. Not Pride and Prejudice, nor QaF, and surely no Casanova. Oh well. There's always dubious sources and DVDs.

Me too! And he gets the best lines by far. And despite being the biggest drama queen ever, when he has to sign his rights away to his mother, he is so quiet and despairing that it breaks my heart into little pieces.

Alexander can pull off wearing a pearl necklace around his wrist, which is something. He's such a cutie, and you're right about the quiet despair. (Of course, he only puts on the drama queen facade to hide his sensitive nature and all.) I love Stuart for blowing up that car as payback.

See I think it starts off with Vince and the unrequited love and then kinds of slides between that and Vince being clueless that Stuart actually likes him. Anyway I do not care much except that it is a thing of beauty.

It only occurred to me how often Stuart says things like, "You're fantastic" and "Is it so hard to believe that someone fancies you?", sounding very earnest about it, and Vince never realises what Stuart is telling him. Do I care? Not really. The best shows are those which keep the UST going.

I don't think so. But I'm not in Britain, so I wouldn't know anyway. I've got it on video. But if you are in any way into slash, this show is a must. It's an intimate insight into the gay scene in Manchester, and from what I've heard, an accurate one. Not to mention very, very sexy *points to Stuart icon*
