Nothing wrong with booze for breakfast. Slughorn displays the right attitude, plying students with mead first thing in the morning. I'm not all that keen on beer myself, but I'm not a breakfast person in any case, and I'm perfectly prepared to start my day with wine for lunch ;-)
I'm not opposed to Remus/Tonks, as such, but I'd rather Remus was not paired off in canon so that I could keep writing him in many different pairings in fanon. Same applies to Snape.
