I actually feel sorry for the guy (well, kinda - nobody made him say yes in the first place) Cause yes, he will be Edward Cullen forever now... And when he's old and gray he'll still have to appear as Edward Cullen on shows - even if he turns out to be a great actor do some decent movies. Then again, to me he'll always be Cedric Diggory, so...
Yes! He'll get pestered about his experience playing Edward in interviews forever, and in 20 years time journalists will refer to Edward as his breakthrough role, and if he turns out to be a great actor, there will always be a tone of surprise ("From teenage heartthrob to Lars von Trier's favourite thespian"). He's going to end up a raging alcoholic by the age of 32! < / prediction >
