The Snape Fuh-Q Fest archive has been updated with my story (the very same story that took me ages to write, that's right)! Just had to share this piece of news before I troll off to read all the other wonderful Snapeslash I'm sure has been posted. I was actually just about to start on my Tonks/Ginny, but the girls can wait.

Actually, the vague concept for the new fic is to incorporate Remus into the plot. I have an idea how to proceed, but have yet to find a beginning. I was considering writing the story from Tonks' PoV, but I'm worried that she would turn into a Mary Sue before I can say "Nymphadora".

I understand the problem... Mary Sues are the horror of fic writers (well, most of them anyway)... bah, knowing you, I'm sure it will be brilliant *g*

That your story, "Last Resort" frigging rocks.
Beautifully done dialogue and very believable characteriations- paranoid, swarmy Snape, pent up Sirius, pissed off Remus. Just extremely well done.
As for the esexy bits- very sexy and very believable- poor pent up Sirius- and shocked Snape (there was a hint of non con there- but I got the feeling that Snape could have pushed Sirius off if he really wanted to.)Mutually physical need drives this Sirius, and his need to connect to living world- even if it is through shagging Snape. The rivalry and teen age cruelty are thus not explained away, but still in the context of who they are to each other.

Thanks a lot! Staying within canon and within character as much as possible is my major goal when writing fanfiction, and I'm so glad it works out OK.

After OotP, my view on this pairing changed slightly, and I believe that Severus is feeling that for once he is in a stronger position than Sirius. He provokes Sirius, who lets himself being provoked because there's not much else in his life that prevents him falling back into apathy.

Yeah, I also think he could have pushed Sirius off. He just doesn't want to lose ground and allow too much intimacy. I was trying to make the sex aggressive, but without one-sided violence.
