Remus would be simultaneous frustrated by the need for him to be in charge and slightly thankful so he doesn't have to deal with himself for a bit
I find Remus hard to write when dealing with difficult situations (i.e. death and destruction and stuff). I'm not too fond of uber-angsty Remus; he is very calm not only because he has trained himself to be, but also because he is the sort of person to keep cool and remain level-headed. But there must be something going behind the facade. He is so hard to pin down, honestly *is slightly exasparated*
as for Draco...well, he's a bit twisted, as per always
Draco must be horribly, horribly hurt. He is so proud, and now his father is in prison. And I don't buy Evil!Draco, so I was trying to make him confused and angry in a very teenage sort of way.
Remus's line, heh! It was gacked from JKR, really, since Harry says something to that respect when dealing with Draco at the end of OotP *g*
