But look at it logically: We want Dumbledore to force Snape to continue teaching Harry. Because the books are written from Harry's perspective. If Snape no longer teaches Harry, there will be less Snape in the books.

Unless, of course, one doesn't care for canon!Snape, because Rowling has no grasp of his character anyway.

Half-joking, really. I was referring to those people who claim that they would write Snape much better than Rowling does. I have come across such comments, and they always strike me as a bit odd.

What I meant is, I didn't expect it to be funny as in making someone laugh. I'd rather have expected to elicit a weak grin, if anything. Ah, the joys of online conversation.
