Forget PoA, Periode 1 is going to be the movie event of the summer... ;-)

Oh, I don't know. I might be an exception, but I absolutely LOVE the Harry Potter movies (though it isn't the same kind of love that I have for the books)!

Hmm, and I actually fear that Periode 1 won't meet my expectations. :( Traumschiff has always been my favourite bit on Bully Parade, but I'm not sure if the concept works for an entire movie! (?!) (I was also disappointed by Der Schuh des Manitu.. It was funny, sure, but not as funny as I had hoped.)

I didn't mean from a personal perspective, I'm looking forward to both, PoA probably a bit more, even, but from a more German perspective. Most of my fannish German friends are more into the Bully movies than HP and are looking forward to it more.

Oh, I see! In that case, I agree with you - I don't think I know *anyone* who's as much looking forward to seeing PoA as I am (except other slashers maybe). For most people it's just another movie of the "nice but nothing special" category.. (been there, done that).

Hehe, my friends are divided into Bully lovers, haters of all sorts of German comedy, and people who simply don't care. But I guess that also here in Austria, most people are more interested in the Herbig movie than in the Harry Potter one (also because it's comedy = suitable for everyone, not family entertainment = kids stuff! - Ohh, if they only knew.. ;))
